Several green organisations have had their budgets cut by the new coalition government. The Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) will lose £162m and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (Decc) will lose £85m. The cuts represent 5.5% and 2.5% of their respective budgets.
